Meihanda is a bicycle factory, not a trading company. Since 2014 we have designed, welded, painted and assembled bicycles in our own plant in Jiujiang Town, Nanhai District, Foshan, Guangdong — and we sell wholesale direct to importers, distributors, retail chains and private-label brands in 15 markets.
This page is the starting point for wholesale buyers: what you can buy, how an order runs, and the commercial terms we work to.
Who this page is for
- Importers buying full containers of complete bikes or frames.
- Distributors and wholesalers who need a reliable, repeatable supply line.
- Retail chains and bike shops buying by container rather than by unit.
- Private-label and OEM brands who need a factory that can build to their specification and their artwork.
- Fleet and rental operators buying in volume with spares.
What you get buying direct from the factory
- Factory-direct pricing. There is no trading-company margin inside the price you are quoted.
- Our own production. Frames, carbon layup, alloy welding, painting, component assembly and export packing are carried out in-house, so geometry, materials and QC decisions are made under our roof.
- Documented quality. Structural and fatigue testing to ISO 4210 on sampled frames, seven QC checkpoints per order, and 100% pre-shipment function testing.
- Pre-shipment inspection report. Photos, carton count and a detailed packing list before the container leaves.
- A spare-parts allowance. A standard allowance of spare parts is included with bulk container orders — see spare parts.
- OEM and ODM. Build your design to our production, or build your brand on a platform we have already engineered — see OEM & ODM.
- Mixed containers. Several models, sizes and colours can travel in one 40ft High Cube, which is how most importers start.
Four ways to buy from us
| Route | Best for | What it involves |
|---|---|---|
| Single-model container | Buyers who already know what sells | One model at volume; the lowest unit cost you will get from us |
| Mixed container | Testing a market or building a range | Multiple models, sizes and colours plus wearable spare parts in one shipment |
| OEM | Brands with a design or reference bike | Your geometry, components, colours and artwork, produced and packed under your brand |
| ODM | Brands that want to start from a proven platform | An existing platform with your specification, cosmetics and packaging — or a new model developed with us |
Tooling is what decides MOQ and unit cost in most projects: an existing mould costs nothing, a private mould does not. The full breakdown is on our OEM & ODM page.
Commercial terms at a glance
| Item | How we work |
|---|---|
| Minimum order | Sample units are available first. Production MOQ depends on whether the mould exists, the frame material, the finish and your chosen components; within a mixed container, per-model and per-colour minimums apply. We confirm the exact figures for your configuration. |
| Payment | Standard wholesale terms are 30% T/T deposit with the order and the balance against the B/L copy. An irrevocable L/C at sight is also accepted. Samples and small orders placed through this website can be paid by card or PayPal. |
| Lead time | Sample units typically take around two to three weeks. Production starts once the deposit and the approved specification are with us; the lead time for your order is stated in your proforma, not estimated verbally. |
| Incoterms | FOB, CFR or CIF — whichever fits how your customs broker works. Named-port quotes are available. |
| Packing | Export cartons, one unit per carton, with alternative assembly ratios (85% assembled or knocked-down) depending on your market and your freight cost per unit. |
| Spare parts | A standard allowance of spares is included with bulk container orders, and additional spares can travel inside any later container. |
| Documents | Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and transport documents for your broker, plus specification sheets for the models shipped. |
How an order runs
- Enquiry. Send your target model or category, approximate quantity, destination market and price point. A reference bike, tech pack or drawings help but are not required.
- Quotation. We come back with platform options, a specification, a costed quotation and a dated schedule.
- Sample or first batch. You validate the finish, geometry and components before volume production.
- Order confirmation. Specification, artwork, tolerance sheet and payment terms are fixed in writing; the deposit releases material and line time.
- Production and pre-shipment inspection. Seven checkpoints per order, 100% function testing, and an inspection report with photos and packing list before the container leaves.
- Shipment and after-sales. We ship to your destination port or your forwarder, and support the first year with spare parts and technical documentation.
Why a factory rather than a trading company
When you buy from a trading company, their margin sits inside your purchase price, and the technical answers come from someone who is relaying questions to a factory you never speak to. Buying from us removes one layer of margin and one layer of distance: the people who decide your geometry, your tolerances and your QC path are the people answering you.
Two honest qualifications. First, for very small and very varied orders, local stock can be faster — there is no production run and no sea freight. Second, factory-direct pricing pays off when an order is planned rather than improvised: if you need twenty units next week, we are not your supplier; if you are building a range, we are.
Next step
Tell us your market, your rider and your price point and we will come back with options, a dated schedule and a quotation broken down by cost component, so you can compare it fairly against other suppliers. Start a conversation with our export team, or read our factory and quality process and our warranty terms first.
How this page was written. Meihanda has operated its own bicycle factory in Foshan, Guangdong Province, China since 2014 (ISO 9001:2015). The terms described here are our standard wholesale terms; the exact figures — MOQ, warranty periods, lead times and spare-parts allowance — are confirmed per model and per order in your quotation and order confirmation. Where a destination market imposes additional requirements, we confirm them with you before production. Last reviewed: October 2026.
Container loading reference (mixed containers)
| Configuration | Reference units per 40ft High Cube |
|---|---|
| 27.5″–29″ adult MTB, one unit per carton (≈85% assembled) | ≈360–430 |
| Same models, knocked down | Substantially more — typically 60–100% more, depending on carton design |
These are industry reference ranges, not commitments: the real figure follows your carton dimensions and assembly ratio, and we calculate it for your exact mix before you commit. Note that adult bikes are usually volume-limited rather than weight-limited — which is why knocking a bike down increases the count far more than shaving a kilogram off it.
The seven QC checkpoints every order passes
| # | Checkpoint | What is checked |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Incoming material | Tube and sheet specification, alloy grade confirmation, and component references against the bill of materials |
| 2 | Frame dimensional | Critical dimensions and geometry against the tolerance sheet; bottom-bracket thread and facing |
| 3 | Weld and alignment | Weld quality, rear-triangle alignment, dropout parallelism, and fork alignment |
| 4 | Surface and paint | Surface preparation, primer and topcoat coverage, colour against the approved sample, decal position |
| 5 | Assembly and torque | Torque on critical fasteners, brake setup, gear indexing, and wheel trueing |
| 6 | Function test | 100% of units: braking, shifting, steering — and electrical function on e-bikes |
| 7 | Packing and loading | Carton contents against the packing list, carton count, and photographs of the loaded container before the doors close |
Structural and fatigue testing to ISO 4210 is carried out on sampled frames rather than on every unit. Sampling is the method the standard itself describes, which is why an inspection report containing the sample plan and the results is what a third-party inspector will ask for first.

To quote accurately we need five things — put them in the message box below and we will reply within one working day.
- Product — the model name, or a link to the product page you are looking at
- Quantity — first order volume and expected annual volume
- Customisation — colour, logo, specification, packaging
- Destination — country and port, so we can quote freight alongside the goods
- Target price — if you have one, tell us and we will tell you what is achievable
